The Senior AI/Automation Developer is a hands-on technical role within our innovative AI & Automation team. This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI-driven development, creating full-stack applications using vibe coding methodologies while building sophisticated data solutions. You'll work closely with the AI/Automation Development Lead and contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on rapid delivery and business impact. This role is ideal for an experienced developer who is passionate about leveraging AI, automation, and data technologies to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development & AI Integration:

  • You'll develop end-to-end applications using vibe coding methods and AI-assisted development practices
  • You'll build and integrate AI-powered solutions using OpenAI, Claude, Copilot, and other emerging platforms
  • You'll create automation workflows using UiPath, Power Platform, and custom scripting solutions
  • You'll implement responsive front-end interfaces and robust back-end services
  • You'll develop APIs and integration points between enterprise systems

Data Engineering & Analytics

  • You'll design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time data flows
  • You'll build complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
  • You'll create and maintain data models using Star Schema, Snowflake, and ER modeling techniques
  • You'll ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data solutions
  • You'll optimize database performance and implement data validation processes

Automation & Process Optimization

  • You'll develop automation solutions that streamline business processes and reduce manual effort
  • You'll create intelligent workflows that incorporate AI decision-making and process optimization
  • You'll implement robotic process automation (RPA) using UiPath and related technologies
  • You'll build process monitoring and analytics capabilities for continuous improvement

Collaboration & Solution Delivery

  • You'll participate in discovery sessions and requirements gathering for new projects
  • You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Solutions Architecture, and business users
  • You'll contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing activities

Requirements

Technical Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of full-stack development experience with modern programming languages and frameworks
  • AI & Automation Development:
    • Hands-on experience with AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, Copilot) and API integration
    • Experience with AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar)
    • Develop solutions using Agentic AI methodologies, familiar with AI agents and MCPs
    • Proficiency with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI)
    • Understanding of machine learning concepts and AI implementation patterns

Data Engineering:

  • Strong ETL experience using Azure Data Factory or other ETL platforms, complex data modeling, and performance optimization
  • Expert-level SQL skills for data querying, transformation, and optimization
  • Experience with data modeling techniques and database design Understanding of data governance and security principles

Programming & Development:

  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and/or PowerShell for automation and scripting
  • Experience with modern web development frameworks (React, Angular, or similar)
  • API development and integration experience Version control systems (Git) and collaborative development practices

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AI/ML Certifications: Relevant certifications in AI platforms, cloud services, or automation tools
  • Advanced ETL: Experience with complex data transformation and integration processes using Azure Data Factory or similar platforms
  • Enterprise Experience: Track record of delivering solutions in large corporate environments
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform DevOps/CI-CD: Knowledge of deployment pipelines and infrastructure as code
  • Data Visualization: Experience with advanced analytics and data storytelling

This is a hybrid role reporting to the SVP - Technology Improvement Director.

Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.

The annual salary range for this position is $68,000 - $110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
