Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Secretary I

Work Schedule: This is an in-office position. Our DC office is centrally located and Metro accessible. Must be available to work a consistent part-time schedule for 12 weeks during the Spring 2026 semester. 12 hours per week; regular business hours (9AM-5PM). Hours to be agreed on prior to start date. Must-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with U.S. government processes (legislative and executive branches)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, Teams)
• Ability to use AI tools (Copilot or similar) for research and briefing support
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
• Ability to work independently and seek guidance when needed

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Coursework in Political Science, Economics, International Affairs, or Business Administration
• Prior internship experience on Capitol Hill or within the Executive Branch
• Experience with data analysis, data visualization, or political engagement data

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Attend trade association webinars, industry briefings, and congressional hearings; prepare written summaries
• Support planning, tracking, execution, and follow-up of PAC activities and events
• Contribute to executive briefing materials using AI and research tools, including legislative background and news summaries
• Assist with political engagement data projects, including compiling datasets and generating insights and visualizations
• Maintain contact management logs and organize business card information
• Collaborate with Global Government Affairs team on additional policy-related projects

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or graduated within the past year
• Interest in federal, state, local, and global public policy issues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate government affairs environment
• No immigration sponsorship available for this position
