Vice President of Clinical Services

Full Spectrum Search Group is an executive search firm that specializes in senior living, skilled nursing, home health, and hospice. We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Clinical Services to reside in California or Texas for one of our clients.

Position Details

• Position Title: Vice President of Clinical Services
• Location: California or Texas - 50% travel
• Experience: Senior-level hospice clinical leadership experience required, with deep expertise in compliance, regulatory oversight, and multi-site clinical support
• Compensation: $180,000–$200,000 base pay plus bonus

Qualifications

Demonstrated senior leadership experience within hospice operations
Proven expertise in hospice compliance, including experience with TPEs, OIG ADRs, audits, and regulatory readiness
Strong working knowledge of CMS Conditions of Participation and evolving hospice regulations
Ability to present confidently to executive leadership or board-level audiences
Growth-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate clinical gray areas appropriately
Comfort operating in a consultative, dotted-line leadership structure without direct reports
Willingness to travel approximately 50 percent, with flexibility based on organizational needs

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and strategic support across eight hospice locations
• Serve as the primary clinical and compliance partner to senior leadership and legal counsel
• Lead clinical audits, chart reviews, mock surveys, and site-based assessments
• Develop and formalize organization-wide clinical education and training initiatives
• Support admission decision-making by balancing regulatory compliance with growth objectives
• Conduct ride-alongs and field-based support with clinical and operational leaders
• Maintain up-to-date expertise on hospice regulations, compliance trends, and best practices
• Facilitate regular clinical forums or calls to ensure alignment, education, and consistency
