El Asistente de Técnico de Salud Mental es parte integral del equipo de tratamiento de los programas clínicos. Su responsabilidad primaria es la observación y vigilancia de pacientes durante su estadía en el Hospital. Satisface las necesidades básicas identificadas en el paciente y comunica al equipo de tratamiento cambios en conducta o estado emocional y cualquier otra información relevante y pertinente al cuidado del paciente.
