The Systems Testing Specialist role involves planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts for large systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments. This includes creating test plans, test scripts, and test cases, as well as executing various types of testing such as systems integration, specialized, and user acceptance testing. The specialist will work closely with project teams to analyze, design, develop, implement, and support required systems, while also supporting release and infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Providing advice on testing strategy, test plans, tool selection, and resource identification.
- Planning and organizing testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments.
- Developing test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
- Executing systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborating with testing leads, IT leads, and project team members.
- Supporting release and infrastructure solutions.
- Creating testing strategy documentation, test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Supporting user acceptance testing and participating in UAT activities.
- Supporting investigation of production defects, and then testing hotfixes.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in manual and automated testing.
- Experience with Test Automation tools such as QTP V10.0 and HPQC.
- Working knowledge and in-depth understanding of the entire Software Testing processes.
- Experience in creating test plans, test scripts, test cases and test scenarios, and reporting defects.
- Experience with different types of software testing and testing methodologies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
- ETL and data validation testing experience using Informatica and SSIS.
- Business intelligence testing experience, specifically Cognos and Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills (SQL Server required).
- Accessibility testing experience aligned with AODA / WCAG AA.
- Experience supporting production issues, hotfix testing, and release cycles.
- Experience with technical skills in SQL, Databases, XML.
- Proficiency with desktop tools (MS Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
