Job Title: Sr Azure/Windows System Engineer

Location: Fully Onsite Cape Coral, FL
Type: 6 Months Contract or Contract-to-Hire



Qualifications

Required Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure engineering experience in hybrid Microsoft environments.
• Strong expertise in:
• Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory
• Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Virtualization, backup, and recovery (ESXi, vSphere, vMotion, Veeam, SAN, NAS)
• Azure IaaS/PaaS services
• Endpoint management (Intune, NinjaOne, or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of:
• MS SQL Server administration assistance
• Networking (switches, firewalls, load balancers)
• Cloudflare, GoDaddy, and domain/DNS management
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., WhatsUp Gold) and endpoint protection (e.g., SentinelOne).

Soft Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a with a results-oriented, proactive mindset.
• Ability to balance day-to-day operational support with project-based improvements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments..
• Self-motivated, with strong multitasking and independent work capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Exposure to Dell/EMC storage, Fortinet firewalls, Kemp load balancers.
• Knowledge of scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud strategies
