Queen's English is a Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient & James Beard-nominated Hong Kong-style Chinese restaurant. We are a small team looking to add to the front of house staff. Seeking a part-time individual who can work 2-3 evening shifts a week. Shifts available are a mix of serving and hosting. You will be working closely with the owner, General Manager, and the rest of the team.
As a host, you must keep a cool head under pressure and be extremely organized and assertive. Experience with OpenTable reservation system is a plus, but we are willing to train a motivated and positive individual! Must be able to learn the food menu, wine, cocktails, etc and also run food and drinks as we are a small team, and all members are expected to jump in and help. We have an extensive natural wine list that we will train you on, but a basic knowledge and willingness to learn is key. Must be quick moving, organized and be able to thrive under pressure! This position is hourly, plus tips.
