Cypress Social is in search of a qualified and highly motivated individual to join our stellar kitchen team! We are a true destination restaurant and have been recognized as the winner of Best New Restaurant from the Arkansas Times, Soiree, and AY Magazine. We are looking for an experienced, skilled cook to join our morning kitchen team and contribute to the overall excellence of our restaurant. Below are some job requirements we are looking for.

• · Must have relevant food prep experience in a large volume, professional kitchen (2 years or more)
• · Must be familiar with basic cooking techniques, such as sauté, grill, poach, smoking, braise, etc. and possess a base knowledge on preparing sauces, soups, vinaigrettes, etc.
• · Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• · Possesses the ability to work on multiple projects or tasks at the same time.
• · Must maintain a clean and sanitary working environment and station; ensuring the station, equipment and surrounding areas are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with company standards and health code requirements.
• · Follow proper opening procedures and be to work on time, ready to work.
• · Checking in orders, ensuring the quality of product being received is correct.
• · Assisting with deep cleaning of the kitchen to maintain a high level of cleanliness in all aspects of the kitchen.
• · Have a willingness to work together as a team and help wherever necessary.

Located in North Little Rock, our destination restaurant and event center provides an eclectic mix of one-of-a-kind fare with a Southern-inspired backbone, an innovative bar menu, and best in class service.
