**Overview** **Location:** Brandon, FL **Schedule:** As Needed, Monday-Friday **Pay:** Starting at $25/hr, based on experience Select Physical Therapy is seeking a per diem **COTA** with at least **1 year of hand therapy experience** to support our outpatient clinic. You'll treat upper extremity conditions including tendon injuries, sprains, and post-op fractures, working alongside experienced hand therapists and orthopedic surgeons. We offer a collaborative team environment, access to fully equipped clinics, and support from a growing national hand therapy program. **Apply today** to join a team committed to quality care and professional growth. **Responsibilities** + Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients. + Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components + Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services. + Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals + Ensure proper documentation of patient care. + Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies **Qualifications** + Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program + National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED + Must have previous 1 year experience working with hand therapy patients. + Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification + Valid state driver's license **Additional Data** **Fostering Well-Being** : We offer benefits which support the financial, work/life and emotional well-being of you and your family members.
